September will see most of us revisit a classic, and our discussion of J.D. Salinger’s “Catcher in the Rye” will be led by Richard.
“Mr. Pip” by Lloyd Jones is October’s pick and it will be presented by Ted.
Angela will lead our response to “The Gathering”, by Irish author Anne Enright, for the November meeting.
A reminder that meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at 7.00 P.M. in the meeting space of Collected Works Books, Holland and Wellington.

Hi, I am new to the neighborhood and would like to join your book club. Is there a limited amount of people that can attend or can I just drop in on the appointed days?
Looking for to hearing from you and reading with you!

Sylvie, the book club is open to one and all. Drop ins are always welcome and even encouraged. Seating is not usually a problem but we have drawn some standing room only crowds on occasion. Also note that we also usually go out for a drink after the meeting (lately it’s been to the GCTC) to either continue discussion on the book or what ever else may be of interest that day.

Ditto from Sylvia. I love Collected Works. Only just found out about the book club because I asked. Thank you for the reading group. I plan to attend and it will be a pleasure to be among you and join you all later. Regards, Marlene
